The investigation revealed that someone removed various items from golfers' bags between 1:45 p.m. and 4 p.m. while the victims were playing golf. The thief removed the victims' wallets and watches from their golf bags, which were strapped to the golf carts, while they were distracted.

The man who is being sought (pictured, above) may have valuable information in reference to the thefts and is possibly involved in similar thefts that occurred that same day at a golf course at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, deputies said.

The man may have been in possession of a pink golf bag while at the golf course and, in addition to the shirt in the photo, he could be wearing a black and pink shirt.

If you can identify the man, call Detective Charles "Kip" Brantley at the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office at 904-209-3986 or Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida at 888-277-TIPS.
