Deputies: 3 wanted for using stolen credit card at outlet stores

SJCSO: 2 men, woman used stolen card to buy $500 worth of items from Polo store

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Two men and a woman are sought in connection with using stolen credit card information for purchases at several St. Augustine Outlet stores earlier this month, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday. 

The three bought nearly $500 worth of merchandise using stolen credit card information at the Polo Ralph Lauren factory store about noon on Sept. 19, deputies said.

Investigators said they discovered that the same card had been used a short time earlier at the GNC store in the same shopping plaza. 

According to the store clerk at GNC, the purchase was made by a 5-foot-5-inch white woman with brunette hair.

The three used a credit card with account information belonging to a South Carolina woman who had reported that her car was broken into on Sept. 17 and at least two credit cards were missing from her wallet, according to the Sheriff's Office.
