CRESCENT BEACH, Fla. – A bicyclist was flown to a hospital with serious injuries after being hit Thursday morning on State Road A1A in Crescent Beach.
St. Johns County deputies said the crash involving two vehicles and the bicycle occurred just before 7 a.m. on A1A at Gone Fishing Lane.

The bicyclist was flown by air ambulance to a hospital.
Lanes were shut down for about an hour as the Florida Highway Patrol and the Sheriff's Office investigated.
The name of the victim and other details should be released later in the day.
