Teen, 13, accused of killing SW Fla. homeless man

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Police say a 13-year-old southwest Florida boy is charged with the second-degree murder of a homeless man.

The teen was arrested at his home on Sunday and was being held without bond.

The News-Press of Fort Myers reported that 51-year-old Thomas J. Bergstrom was found dead in a homeless camp on Saturday morning. Police say he had been stabbed multiple times.

Cape Coral Sgt. Dana Coston says detectives identified the teen as a suspect based on evidence found at the scene.

The Associated Press is not publishing the suspect's name because of his age.
