Gentleman's club shooter convicted in 2010 death

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 27-year-old Jacksonville man was convicted Friday for his involvement in the shooting death of nother man in August 2010.

The jury found William Mango III guilty of manslaughter in the death of Scotty Frasier Jr.

Frasier was engaged in a verbal argument with a friend at Diamonds Gentleman's Club on North Main Street. As the argument carried outside and into the parking lot of the club, Mango inserted himself between the two and began arguing with Frasier.

Mango then walked to his car, drove it over to where Frasier was standing and shot him once from inside his vehicle. Mango then fled the scene in that same vehicle.

Mango faces up to 30 years in prison. He will be sentenced the week of Oct. 28.
