NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Nashville is honoring one of its own. Almost 7 months after his death, his wife Nancy Jones unveiled a monument near "the possum's" grave in Woodlawn Cemetery Monday.

Chiseled across the top of the stone arch is the name "Jones." Below that is the name of one of the country legend's most famous songs, "He stopped loving her today."

Nancy Jones also announced a new scholarship in his name at nearby Middle Tennessee State University.

On Friday, a Who's Who of country music stars will pay tribute to Jones in a concert at Nashville's Bridgestone arena.
