After speaking with the two and observing their behavior, the deputy who stopped them asked for a K-9 deputy to join him to conduct a search, according to the Camden County Sheriff's Office.

The K-9 alerted deputies to drugs and deputies searched the vehicle, according to the Sheriff's Office.

They said the substance was field tested on scene and tested positive for heroin.

Deputies said they also found a bag containing several syringes.

They said the total approximate weight of the heroin was 20.6 grams contained in 206 packets.
