2 arrested in trio of Brunswick business robberies

BRUNSWICK, Ga. – Glynn County police investigating two robberies of the same Brunswick Winn-Dixie store and the holdup of of a Sonic restaurant over the past five weeks and made two arrests.

Late Friday the Criminal Investigations Division announced the arrest of Dakota Havle, 19, and Marquis Daniels, 21, both of Brunswick.

Daniels was charged in connection to the Jan. 18 armed robbery of the Winn Dixie at 5711 Altama Ave., the Feb. 13 armed robbery of the Sonic at 4727 Altama Ave. and Wednesday morning's armed robbery of the Winn Dixie at 5711 Altama Ave.

Havle has been charged with one count of armed robbery in the January Winn-Dixie robbery.

In all three robberies, at least two masked men with guns entered and demanded money.  No injuries were reported in any of the robberies.
