A small plane made a safe emergency landing on Interstate 95, just south of the McIntosh County, just before noon Monday, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
The plane was towed to a way station in McIntosh County so the pilot, John Wright, of Alabama, could get it checked and resume his flight.
Wright was not hurt in the mishap, and no vehicles on I-95 were damaged.
