Police arrested a Brunswick man early Saturday morning after they said he beat his 3-month-old son to death days earlier.
Willie James Stroud, 22, is charged with murder in the death of Christian Powell.
Detectives with the Glynn County Police Department said the infant was found dead in his home, an apartment off Darien Highway, on Monday. Police said the baby died from "extensive injuries."
Stroud is also charged with child molestation because police said he got the baby's mother pregnant when she was only 15 years old. He was 21 years old at the time.
