The St. Marys Airport Authority voted Wednesday night to revoke the permit of The Jumping Place after an incident earlier this month in which two skydivers were blown off course and landed on the grounds of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.
The Navy has told the Airport Authority those unauthorized landings are security threats and have to stop.
The owner of The Jumping Place, Cathy Kloess, is filing a complaint with the Federal Aviation Administration, saying the FAA has authority in this matter, not the Airport Authority, because the St. Marys Airport gets FAA funding for all general aviation.
Kloess said she's still in business until someone comes to her door with an order.
The Jumping Place has been at the airport since 2006 and has more than 5,000 customers a year.
Kloess also said she's actively looking for a new location.
