Brunswick city officials are planning a town hall meeting to hear concerns from residents after the killing of a toddler, who was gunned down last month as his mother walked him down a city sidewalk.
The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Old City Hall.
City Commissioner Cornell Harvey said the meeting will be a chance for the public to come together, voice concerns and get answers from law enforcement officials handling the case, which has now included the arrests of several of one of the accused teen's family members and Brunswick Councilman James Brooks.
The toddler, 13-month-old Antonio Santiago, was killed March 21 in a shooting that also wounded his mother, Sherry West. Two teenagers are facing murder charges in the crime, which authorities have described as an attempted robbery.
