ATLANTA, Ga. -

Passengers at Atlanta's main airport can now apply for the PreCheck program.

Passengers can apply at a second site outside Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport's security checkpoint.

The U.S. Transportation Security Administration runs the PreCheck program that offers faster screenings.  The program allows passengers to keep their shoes, light outwear and belts on during the security checkpoints.  Passengers would also get to keep laptops in the cases and liquids wouldn't have to be removed from their carry-on bags.

Travelers must first apply online.  From there they must provide biographical information, provide fingerprints and other identity documents.  Travelers can provide the information by visiting an application center.
