Reward upped to $25K in Camden County killing

WOODBINE, Ga. – The Camden County Sheriff's Office has upped its reward to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect in the killing of 49-year-old Emily Drury.

On the afternoon of Sept. 4, deputies responded to a home in the 3600 block of McKinnon Road in White Oak to check on Drury's well-being.

Drury was found dead on the floor of the home. The death was ruled a homicide.

The Sheriff's Office and Georgia Bureau of Investigation are conducting the investigation.

Sheriff Jim Proctor said this case is particularly frustrating.

"This has been very hard on Miss Drury's family and frustrating for our investigators," he said. "We are confident that someone out there besides the killer knows what happened, and we implore them to come forward. Justice needs to be served and this family needs closure."
