ST. MARYS, Ga. - Airport officials in St. Marys plan a special meeting to address security concerns after two skydivers missed the airfield and landed on high-security property inside Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base.

The Florida Times-Union reported that airport officials are planning the meeting for Wednesday to ask what steps have been taken by a The Jumping Place to ensure that it doesn't happen again.

The U.S. Navy briefly held the two skydivers in custody earlier this month after they landed on the sub base. They were released once their identities were verified.

Airport officials say it's at least the third time in three years that skydivers missed the airport.
