ATLANTA, Ga. - Coca-Cola is suing a company it formerly worked with because it collected nearly $1 million in vending machine fees.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Coca-Cola cut ties with USA Technologies Inc. of Malvern, Pa. two years ago.  Since then the company says USA Technologies continued to collect vending fees from customers.

The fees were collected when a customer bought a drink using a credit or debit card.  USA Technologies was responsible for the transactions.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the lawsuit, filed in an Atlanta federal court, claims five percent of monthly proceeds and a fraction for transactions went toward USA Technologies.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, hasn't return a request for comment.
