ATLANTA, Ga. - Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp is warning the public of voter registration fraud.

Kemp warned to stay alert for scammers who may be collecting personal data.  He said the information could be used to steal someone's identity.

When it comes to registering to vote, Kemp said the public isn't required to provide an email address, phone number or  full social security number.

Kemp suggests those with an ID looking to register to vote access the state's secure online voter registration system.
