GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. – Police have made three more arrests in the armed robbery last month of a 17-year-old boy who was meeting a girl he had been talking to on Facebook, the Glynn County Police Department said.

Tyrone Daniels, 18, Aaron Holland, 18, and Torrence Starke, 18, are facing armed robbery charges.

The robbery was reported Jan. 17 on Harry Driggers Boulevard near Highway 17, north of the Eagle Crest subdivision.

According to police, the boy was talking to a girl on Facebook and agreed to meet her. The girl picked the boy up from his house, driving a Dodge Durango SUV, with two girls and two men inside.

Once inside the SUV, the boy was choked from behind and a gun was pointed at his head while he was robbed, officials said.

The SUV, reported stolen from Waycross, Georgia, was found broken down near Greer Elementary School, police said. The robbers ran away.

At around 2 a.m., the two girls were arrested walking on Harry Driggers Boulevard, police said. Authorities said the two girls, 14-year-old Vernae Washington and 16-year-old Kiyanna Conaway, have been charged with armed robbery as adults.

Daniels was arrested Jan. 25, Holland was arrested Jan. 28 and Starke was arrested Jan. 31.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
