Woman rescued from Brunswick house fire

She was treated for smoke inhalation

BRUNSWICK, Ga. – Firefighters rescued a woman from her burning home in Brunswick, Georgia, Thursday night.

The fire started about 6 p.m. on Juliette Circle, just off Touchstone Parkway.

Crews at the scene told News4Jax that one woman was in the home when the fire started, but she was rescued by firefighters and treated for smoke inhalation.

There is no word yet on the extent of the damage or a cause.
