Pilot uninjured after crashing on touchdown

Crash happened near First Pentecostal Church

KINGSLAND, Ga. – An airplane crashed Saturday at a model airshow on Clarks Bluff Road near the First United Pentecostal Church, the Camden County Fire Rescue Department said.

The pilot was attempting to land a EuroFOX light-sport airplane on the site where a model airshow was being held. Officials said the pilot was not injured and walked away from the crash. 

The EuroFOX is a Slovakian-built two-seat light high-winged aircraft.
