LEESBURG, Fla. – Police are investigating after people inside two cars shot at each other Sunday at 5:35 p.m.
The gunfire began between the two vehicles near near the 2200 block of Griffin Road and continued onto Highway 27.

Police said a two-door Pontiac crashed near 727 S. 14th Street, at which time three black men got out of the vehicle and ran.
The other vehicle is believed to be a dark car, according to police.
No injuries were reported in the crash or the gunfire.
