JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Transportation Authority, in partnership with local sports-radio station 1010 XL, announced their plans to launch the Gameday Xpress Wednesday.
The shuttle service kicks off the season on Aug. 20 with a new look for the 2016 season.

Sports fans can the Gameday Xpress to Jacksonville Jaguar games, the Navy-Notre Dame game, Georgia-Florida and the TaxSlayer Bowl.
The Gameday Xpress operates from two downtown locations and three suburban locations. Service begins two hours before kickoff and operates one hour after the game ends. The JTA also offers continuous shuttle service during the game to and from the Convention Center Lot only.
Downtown Gameday Xpress locations:
- Convention Center Lot: 1005 Forsyth St.
- Kings Avenue Parking Garage: 1003 Kings Ave.
- Single game shuttle pass - $7
- Season shuttle pass - $51
Suburban Gameday Xpress locations:
- Beaches Lot: Little League (Wingate) Park, 277 Penman Rd. S.,
- Mandarin Lot: 3011 Marbon Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32223
- Southside Lot (JTB): 7020 Philips Highway, Jacksonville, FL 32216
- Single game shuttle pass - $12
- Season shuttle pass - $87
The beaches and mandarin locations only operate during the regular season games.
“JTA’s Gameday Xpress makes game days more enjoyable by providing hassle free trips to sporting events,” said JTA CEO Nathaniel Ford. “We encourage fans to park in one of our five conveniently located parking lots and ride to the game with your fellow fans. You will arrive at the stadium faster and have more time to enjoy the pre-game festivities.”
JTA said fans can buy a season pass and save up to 20 percent compared to the cost of buying single-game passes.
Single game passes will also be available for the Navy-Notre Dame, TaxSlayer Bowl and Florida-Georgia game at all locations except the Mandarin lot.
All JTA shuttles are wheelchair accessible. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to park at the Convention Center lot where JTA paratransit vans are available.
