Holidays at Disney World could soon cost more

Entertainment giant debating seasonal pricing

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Walt Disney World has confirmed that it is looking into a big pricing change at its parks.

Disney could soon be charging visitors more based on the time of year.

Under the "seasonal pricing" plan, people who visit on busy days, including holidays, will see higher ticket prices than people who visit at traditionally slower times of the year.

Disney says the possible change is part of a plan to thin out crowds, but says the tiered pricing is not a done deal.

So far, Disney has not released a timetable on when a final decision could be made.
