Huguenot Memorial Park reopens after crowd, seas recede

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Huguenot Memorial Park Beach off Heckscher Drive on the north side of the St. Johns River reached capacity at high tide Monday afternoon. This is the third afternoon in a row park officials had to close the park to additional visitors.

Like it had on Saturday and Sunday, it reopened about 5 p.m. when the crowd and tide receded.
