WHAT DO YOU SEE AS THE TOP THREE ISSUES IN THIS RACE?

  • Restore academic achievement as a goal for all Glynn County students by making direct classroom needs our number one funding priority and ensuring a safe teaching and learning environment in all of our schools
  • Renew the school system focus on students and teachers, including strengthening the pride and morale of teachers
  • Promote taxpayer confidence in our public school.
  • HOW DO YOU THINK YOU CAN HELP VOTERS IN A WAY OTHERS IN THIS RACE CAN'T?

    • "I am the only candidate with classroom teaching experience. I am committed to improving our schools with greater accountability, transparency and consistency and will work to ensure that the key stakeholders in education – teachers, parents and students – are included in system planning. I will stress the responsibility of each Board member to devote the time and effort to fully understand the impact of their decisions. I will also promote safe schools for our teachers and children."

WHAT WOULD YOU HOPE TO BE REMEMBERED FOR ACCOMPLISHING AFTER SERVING IN THIS OFFICE?

    • "I would hope to be remembered as a Board member who placed the educational needs of Glynn County children first and who promoted an environment of open communication for teachers, parents and students. I also want to ensure that taxpayer investments in education are backed by sound planning, budgeting and evaluation."
