This is when camp truly begins. Not only will the players be forced to go through their mental repetitions, now there's the added physical aspect.

As expected, the tempo of Sunday's practice was more upbeat. Putting on pads has raised the level of competition on the field.

"It was a good day today as far as getting the pads on, the shoulder pads at least," said Jaguars coach Gus Bradley. "I could see some things as far as contact on the field."

Paul Posluzny, Mercedes Lewis and Roy Miller were all given the day off. This is normal for veterans.

On Monday the Jaguars will head on the road and hold practice at Mandarin High School. There might be a different location, but the expectations remain the same.

"No, we approach it the exact same way," said left tackle Luke Joeckel. "We approach every single day like we want to get better and it's a process. We're going to go out there, try to fix things, work on stuff in the meeting room today and go out there tomorrow and fix it. We don't really care where it's at or what time it's at, we just want to go out there and get better."
