JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a shooting in the Moncrief area.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the intersection of West 36th Street and Moncrief Road around 11 p.m. Monday.

Officers found a man who had been shot in the back. It happened as he walked down W. 36th St.
Right now, police do not have anyone in custody, and they do not have any information on a possible suspect.
The scene is less than three miles from a mass shooting that occurred on Linda Drive Sunday night. Three men were killed, a woman was shot and another woman was injured during the gunfire.
It is not clear if the scene at West 36th Street and Moncrief Road is related.
