Jacksonville Beach police search for 15-year-old girl

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 15-year-old girl last seen Saturday afternoon.

Ciara Mullins, 15, was last seen at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of the 2500 block of Liberty Lane in Jacksonville Beach, police said. Her method of travel was unknown.

Police said they received information that Ciara ran away from her grandparents' house and went to her father's house in Georgia, but when deputies went to check there was no one home.

Ciara's grandparents currently have custody of her.

Police do not believe Ciara is in any danger.

The Department of Children and Families will be investigating this case, and if Ciara's father does not have custody of her, charges could be pending against him. 

Police described Ciara as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Police said she was last seen wearing black shorts and a black shirt with unknown white writing.
