JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A New York University graduate student is returning to her roots to work on her latest project.  Kiara Jones is a Jacksonville native and award winning local film maker.

Her latest project is "Christmas Wedding Baby."  Jones says it's a story of sisters looking to become the women they want to be.  One of them encounters trouble when she realizes the photographer of her wedding is none other than an old flame.

The River City inspired her to return home for filming.  Jones says when she grew up she didn't appreciate what all Jacksonville had to offer.

She says some of her filming locations include Edgewood Bakery -- where the crew is currently filming -- Fernandina Beach and Club Continental.  Jones continued with the Jacksonville theme and held a casting call for Jacksonville residents to act in the film.

When it comes those aspiring to make films Jones says, 'You got to stick to it."

Jones says they are still in need of one more location for shooting: a contemporary condo.  Those who have an condo can visit cultivatedfims.com to contact Jones.
