JaxParks pools to remain open through Labor Day

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Marking the beginning of summer, the City of Jacksonville's Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department's JaxParks swimming pools are open to visitors.

Parents brought their children to city pools Saturday, telling News4Jax, it is a part of their summer tradition. "Today is great. It's just a breakthrough of what's to come this summer," said parent, Tonya Wilson. "It's always been a go-to place for me and the kids and for the surrounding neighborhood."
