This year, the report focused on 10 topics identified in last year's JAX2025 community visioning process.

It identified several "gold stars" of progress -- educational achievement, crime reduction and making sure children have health insurance.

The report also found the local economy is rebounding as wages increased and housing costs remained steady.

JCCI leaders singled out several areas where it is most concerned, including the quality of the St. Johns River, high suicide rates and the high number of bicycle accidents.
