Jacksonville woman wins $500,000 scratch-off game

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Cynthia VanZant, 55, of Jacksonville, claimed a top prize in the new $500,000 Gold Rush scratch-off game in Tallahassee, according to the Florida Lottery.

VanZant purchased her winning ticket from Terry's Country Store, at 1618 Penman Road in Jacksonville Beach.

The $5 scratch-pff game, offers more than 7.5 million prizes, ranging from $5 to $10,000 and 24 top prizes of $500,000. Sixteen top prizes of $500,000 remain in the game. The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-4.23.
