Jags fans celebrate 1st win of the season

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The feeling in Jacksonville Sunday night was ecstatic as the Jaguars celebrate the first win of the season.

Jags fans headed to the Jacksonville Landing to celebrate the win and many said they didn't want the night to end. Chad Fleming was anxiously awaiting the team's first win of the season.

"Jacksonville has been in a slump for six, seven seasons now," Chad Fleming, a Jaguars fan, said. "Tonight was great! It's a great feeling, I am so happy right now. It's a great feeling to have a win! The fans really needed it!"

Another Jaguars fan, James Nichols, said the team looked good on Sunday.

"There's just a whole new feel on offense," Nicholas said. "We are actually moving down the field and it looks like things are working now!"

One of the fans News4JAX spoke with attends the University of Central Florida, which is wear quarterback Blake Bortles went to college. He and his friends said they're ecstatic for the win and are looking forward to the next game.
