Jaguars car show to include Scobee's new ride

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The first ever Jaguars car show is taking place on the 28th at the stadium and even if you don't have a classic, sports or exotic car to enter, you will want to see some of these incredible vehicles. Josh Scobee's Aston Martin DBS is one of the cars that will be featured in the show and he showed it off to us.

He could have any car he wants, but Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee picked the Aston Martin DBS for several reasons. The first is sentimental.

Scobee said, "I'm a huge James Bond fan. And my dad was a big fan and he died when I was 12. We used to watch the old James Bond movies. This car, the color is actually Casino Royale grey. That's from the 2006 movie Casino Royale. So, when I saw that movie, I fell in love with that car."

The second reason, he realized when the dealer asked him two questions.

"Do you want to be someone who is looked at a having a classy car, or you want people to roll their eyes when you pull up. Because, I was looking at a Lamborghini as well. He said with a Lamborghini, people will roll their eyes when you pull up, with this one, they'll say wow! That guys has good taste in cars."

The third reason Scobee picked the Aston Martin DBS, the rush he felt when he first turned the key. But it was the test drive that sealed the deal on this nearly 300 thousand dollar beauty.

Once you're in the passenger seat, you understand.

Scobee said, "Everytime I don't drive it for awhile and then I get back in and driver it, I'm like that's why I bought the car. It's so much fun."

He took me for a short ride and it felt almost like a roller coaster ride. It's easy to see why he likes it so much.

"It's such a fun car to drive," Scobbe added. "It's smooth a nd it's easy to drive even though it's a six speed and gets tricky in 1st and 2nd gear, but it's a really comfortable ride. I've had other fast cars and they were uncomfortable to drive and this is not. It's super comfortable."

Scobee plans on keeping this sentimental dream car in his collection.

"I plan on having this a long time. I will give it to my son for his first car. No! No chance," Scobee joked.
