Police: Missing man provided false name to officer

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A 24-year-old man who disappeared after leaving a South Florida club more than two weeks ago has been arrested in Jacksonville.

Police said the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office took Jorge David Reyes into custody Wednesday.

Police said Reyes provided the officer with a false name and claimed he was born in California.

Reyes was arrested on a charge of providing false information to a law enforcement officer.

He had been missing since April 7, but police said he was spotted days later in Jacksonville.

Police said Reyes will be submitted for a psychiatric evaluation.
