JSO asks for help finding missing woman

34-year-old was last seen near Myrtle Avenue, West 7th Street

Amy Brooks, 34, was reported missing Wednesday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is asking for the community's help in finding a missing person.

Amy Brooks was reported missing on Wednesday when she did not return home after being out all night. Police said Brooks may have been in a fight and injured. She also may be seen walking with a limp due to a previous injury.

Brooks, 34, was last seen in the area of Myrtle Avenue and West 7th Street on Tuesday around 7 p.m., according to JSO.

Brooks is black, 5 feet tall and weighs about 140-150 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair.

This case is currently being investigated as a missing person with foul play suspected.
