JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A now-former civilian employee of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office was arrested Saturday after police said she tried to withdraw money from the account of her father, who died last month.

Jennifer Entner, 32, is charged with multiple counts of both forgery and uttering of forged documents.

Entner was a JSO employee in the Records and ID section. She has since resigned.

Police said an off-duty officer was working at the VyStar Credit Union on Normandy Boulevard when alerted by the management that there was a suspected forgery and fraud taking place on a customer account.

Police said Entner was trying to withdraw money from her father's account, which is in probate, and was making checks payable to herself. The checks totaled $2,800.

JSO said its investigation is ongoing and other arrests are possible. Police said the other possible arrests are not JSO related.
