JTA celebrates Black History Month

Honoring African American inventors and pioneers

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville Transportation Authority is hosting a Black History Month customer celebration to honor African American inventors and pioneers.

Customers are invited to view the bus, speak with JTA representatives and enjoy refreshments.

Participants will receive a commemorative item while they're available.

The ceremony will be held this Friday at the Rosa Parks Transit Station in the Laura Street Reserve Lot.  It's located at 210 West Union Street in downtown Jacksonville.
