Kangaroo store robber sought in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are trying to identify a man who robbed a Kangaroo store on the Westside late Thursday night.

Officers said the man went into the store at 14801 Normandy Blvd. about 11 p.m., pulled down a skull cap over his face and produced a black semiautomatic handgun from his waistband.

The robber pointed the firearm, demanded money, received money and left the store, police said.

Once outside, the man removed the skull cap, revealing his face to the outside camera.

He is described as a white man, 25-35 years old, with short blonde hair and an earring in his left ear. He was also wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and a red skull cap with two holes cut out.
