UNION COUNTY, Fla – A Lake Butler woman is dead after troopers say her car traveled off the roadway and hit a tree.
The accident happened around 1:35 a.m. Saturday on State Road 121 in Union County, according to Florida Highway Patrol troopers.

Jennifer Blackwelder, 32, died after the collision.
Investigators say she was traveling northbound when her 2007 Mazda traveled for an unknown reason into the southbound lane and rotated counterclockwise.
The Mazda went off the roadway while still rotating and hit a tree, according to investigators.
The car the rotated again before ending up on the shoulder of State Road 121.
Blackwelder was pronounced dead on the scene.
