LAKE CITY, Fla. – The only surviving victim of the triple shooting in Lake City on Saturday is recovering.
Columbia High School Principal Donnie Harrison posted a picture of him visiting 17-year-old Whit Vu on the school's Facebook page.

According to Harrison, Vu is "making excellent progress" recovering. He says the first words she poke to him were, "'When can i get my class work?'" He says he took that as a positive sign in her road to recovery.
Harrison says he is proud of Vu and knows she can overcome this tragedy.
Harrison says Vu wants to thank every one for their support.
Police say Vu was shot by her father 41-year-old Khoa Vu during a triple shooting. They say Khoa Vu got into a fight with his wife Tina and then shot and killed her and his 14-year-old son, Khoi.
Police said Khoa Vu's 23-year-old son, who asked not to be named, ultimately stopped his father and held him down until police arrived.
