10 Ford vans stolen in 30 days

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Ten Ford vans have been stolen primarily on Jacksonville's Westside over the last 30 days, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Police said of the E-Series/Econoline/Club Wagon vans stolen, nine were white and one was blue.

All of the thefts occurred at locations at or just off of major thoroughfares, police said. They said the vans were stolen from commercial buildings, including churches, shopping centers and a school.

Police said the method of entry into the vans has varied. Suspect descriptions were provided in three thefts and varied between one and two thieves, police said.

Only two of the vans have been recovered, both in the areas in which they were stolen.
