12 arrested in 'Operation Spring Cleaning'

11 suspects currently wanted by deputies in undercover investigation

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies spread out Thursday morning across Putnam County in the final phase of "Operation Spring Cleaning," an undercover investigation that issued arrest warrants for the sale of controlled substance for 23 people.

According to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, the operation began five months ago with Drug/Vice Unit detectives conducting undercover purchases of cocaine, marijuana and narcotic medication in all areas of Putnam County, from Interlachen to Crescent City.

So far, deputies say 12 suspects have been arrested during the apprehension phase of the operation.

Those arrested include Negele Golden, Lorenzo Holloman, Alfred Hansell, Jerome Richardson, Warren Willis, Andre Alston, Joel Lynch, Bruce Harris, William Clements, Andrew Darrah, Everett Dallas Jr. and Claudia Kessler, who deputies said was arrested by the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

The remaining 11 suspects are currently wanted on active warrants for the sale of controlled substances. Deputies said efforts to find and arrest the remaining suspects are ongoing.

"We are fortunate to have such dedicated detectives who work tirelessly to keep criminals off the streets of Putnam County," said Sheriff Jeff Hardy.

Deputies said the remaining wanted suspects include Floyd Reynolds, Cartageous Valentine, Freddie Thomas, Lawrence Sharp, Marvin Brown, Royzie White, Tharnell Dantzler, Tywain Session, Zachary Thomas, Mark Baker and Michael Hinson.

Deputies said callers can remain anonymous and persons providing information leading to the arrest of one of these suspects may be eligible for a reward.
