2 arrested in drugs, firearms bust

KINGSLAND, Ga. – Police in Kingsland arrested a man and a woman on Friday after they said they served a search warrant and found materials used to manufacture and distribute marijuana, crack cocaine and ecstasy, along with five firearms.

Jimmy Jordan, 36, and Cierra Doucet, 25, were arrested on multiple drug and firearm charges.

Police seized a shotgun with a barrel shortened below the federal and state legal limits, a high-powered rifle, and three handguns.

Police said the arrests and investigation are the results of continuing investigations being conducted by the Kingsland Police Department in an effort to eradicate the sale and distribution of elicit drugs in the community.
