Officers were called to the 1500 block of First Street North just after 7 p.m. They said they detained several people relating to the investigation.

Police said there was a disturbance taking place between two groups of people in a parking lot, and as the groups argued, a vehicle slowly passed by on the street. The vehicle was traveling so slow that one of the people involved in the dispute yelled to the driver, police said.

Investigators said the driver responded by yelling back and then struck the curb of the street and began to pull away. Police said that as he pulled away, Crumley fired a pistol at the group in the vehicle. Police said the vehicle was struck in the passenger side rear glass.

The vehicle fled the area and called 911, police said.

The two suspects were later arrested.

Police said no injuries have been reported.
