FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. - There were dramatic moments on the St. Marys River in Fernandina Beach on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said two men were in a small motorboat when the operator lost control and fell overboard.
The boat began circling, and the other man jumped overboard. They both made it to shore safely.
The boat continued to circle for about 30 minutes before it struck a moored sailboat, doing minor damage.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the incident.
