2 killed in head-on crash on Roosevelt Boulevard

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police think speed and alcohol were factors in a crash on Roosevelt Boulevard that killed two drivers and sent a passenger to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Officer, a Dodge Charger was going north on Roosevelt at the Edgewood Avenue overpass just before 10 p.m.  Investigators believe the driver lost control and the car crossed the median and struck a southbound Mazda head-on near the intersection of Randall Street.
