MACCLENNY, Fla. - Two men were killed in a crash on U.S. 90 that temporarily blocked the highway in both directions, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Enterprise East Boulevard, near the Walmart Distribution Center in Baker County, just after midnight Wednesday.

State troopers said 49-year-old Barry Fouraker, of Bryceville, was driving a van east on U.S. 90 when he entered into the westbound lane and into the path of a van driven by 28-year-old Jason Bassile, of Macclenny.

Troopers said the vans crashed head-on. Fouraker's van overturned and landed on its roof. Bassile's van spun north before coming to a stop.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. Fouraker was not wearing a seat belt, while Bassile was wearing one.

U.S. 90 reopened by  6 a.m.
