ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A Jacksonville Beach man and woman were killed Monday night when their Cadillac missed the exit ramp from Interstate 95 to County Road 210, left the highway and struck a tree, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Robert Jones, 60, and Patricia Newman-Jones, 57, died at the scene.

According to the accident report, the car was northbound in the left lane about 8:40 p.m. when it veered sharply toward the exit ramp, leaving the road and struck the tree.
Troopers said both were wearing seat belts.
