JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two people were shot at the Westlake Villas on the Westside early Friday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. One of those people died at the scene.
Patrol officers responded to the apartment complex on Manotak Avenue just before 1 a.m. When they arrived, they found a man shot inside an apartment.

They found a second man dead inside the apartment.
There was no immediate suspect information. The victim with the gunshot wound was interviewed to determine what happened.
